Le public Français a découvert Feist avec son titre Mushaboom extrait de son album Let it die sorti courant 2006. Mais saviez que Feist a eut plusieur vies avant d’en arriver là ?

Par exemple, saviez-vous qu’ella a été la chanteuse d’un groupe punk nommé Placebo (attention ça n’a rien à voir à son homonyme!) ? Son groupe avait même gagné un tremplin qui leur avaient permis de jouer en première partie des Ramones ! elle a ensuite continué sa carrière, à Toronto, dans une autre formation nommée By Divine Right. Puis, au sein de Broken Social Scene, qui a été un précurseur de l’indie-rock sur la scène musicale canadienne…
